Taught Programmes
Heriot-Watt University is one 8 Scottish Universities who participate in the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics (SGPE). The SGPE comprises an MSc (Masters) programme which provides students with a thorough grounding in modern economic analysis and optionally 3 years of further study towards a PhD at any of the participating universities.
By bringing together teaching and research expertise from leading Scottish universities (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, St Andrews, Stirling and Strathclyde) the SGPE allows students to draw on a diverse pool of academic expertise and professional networks in Economics.
