Overview
Research focuses on the study of European societies, politics and cultures. With research by both cross-national and single-country specialists it brings together a variety of disciplines such as cultural and media studies, history, social theory and political science, thus making a contribution to international and interdisciplinary dialogue in the field The representation of history in different media such as literature and film, the study of popular European culture, investigations into cultural policies and the politics of identity are some of the key areas of research being pursued.
