Strategic Project Management (European Master) MSc

Commencing in September each year the programme lasts 16 months.

Overview

The European Master in Strategic Project Management, known as MSPME, is a unique masters programme that takes an international perspective to the strong and growing demand for strategic thinkers who can deliver core business activities and realise competitive strategies for their organisations through the implementation of strategic projects.

The programme has been developed round three interconnected themes which form the basis for each of the study periods.  These themes also reflect the core academic strengths of each University.

Entry Requirements

Three core admission criteria:

  1. High quality Bachelor degree in a related or semi-related discipline (or equivalent academic degree) of minimum three years duration and 180 ECTS credits.
  2. Non-native speakers of English must score a minimum IELTS of 7.0 or equivalent (e.g. TOEFL 600 or 250 computer-based). 
  3. Student motivation and relevance of this Masters course to students' professional experience to date, and future career aspirations.

English language requirements

If your first language is not English, or your first degree was not taught in English, we’ll need to see evidence of your English language ability. The minimum requirement for English language is IELTS 7.0 or equivalent. We offer a range of English language courses to help you meet the English language requirement prior to starting your masters programme:

  • 2 semesters English (for IELTS of 4.5-5.0);
  • 12 weeks English (for IELTS of 5.5);
  • 6 weeks English (for IELTS 5.5*-6.0). (*minimum 5.5 reading and writing)
